Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are entered into by and between Intent 2 Improve Personal Training Ltd (hereinafter: ‘Intent 2 Improve’) and You (hereinafter: ‘the Member’).

1. Services:

Membership entitles the member to usage of Intent 2 Improve personal training services, classes, nutrition coaching, members’ website and members’ closed group social media. 

2. Membership:

Membership is personal, and cannot be shared. Unless expressly agreed in writing otherwise.

3. Age Limit:

The Member confirms that he/she/they is/are 16 years old or older.
For persons under 16 years old, exceptions are granted based on a written parental consent. Persons under 16 years of age must be supervised at all times.

4. Health:

The Member confirms that he/she/they does/do not suffer from health problems that would hinder exercise or prevent him/her/them from engaging in exercise, or that would be detrimental or adverse to the Member’s health, safety or physical condition if he/she/they did exercise. In case of any doubt, the Member shall seek advice by a medical doctor who should confirm the ability to exercise.

Intent 2 Improve shall have no obligation to perform a fitness assessment or similar testing to determine the Member’s physical condition. If an assessment is done at Intent 2 Improve, it is for the sole purpose of compiling comparative data in order to track the Member’s progress in a programme and not for diagnostic purposes.

5. Liability:

Each Member of Intent 2 Improve shall be liable for any property damage and/or personal injury caused by the Member on the Intent 2 Improve premises. It shall be the obligation of the Member to pay for any costs involved upon presentation of a statement thereof.

6. Waiver of Liability:

Any and all use of the Intent 2 Improve facilities shall be at the Member’s own risk at all times. The Member shall not utilise any equipment unless he/she/they know(s) the appropriate usage. Intent 2 Improve shall not be liable for any injuries, physical impact or damages to the Member, or the property of the Member, or be subject to any claim arising out of the use of the premises and/or of the equipment made available to the users.

7. Session Cancellations:

All sessions cancelled within 24 hours of their displayed start time will be charged in the form of an appropriate session credit within the I2I app. Members must complete the cancellation process within the I2I app should they know they cannot attend, to free up space should there be a waiting list.

8. Unused ‘Sessions’:

All sales are final and in no circumstances do individual sessions (Personal Training or Classes) hold cash value. Unused sessions within a package during the designated month cannot be carried forward to future months, or refunded for a cash amount.

9. Storage for Personal Belongings:

Storage containers are available for Members while working out in the facility. Each Member should empty the container when leaving the facility. All personal belongings are left at the risk of the owner.

10. Lost Property or Theft:

Intent 2 Improve does not take responsibility for loss or theft of any personal belongings. Any items found on Intent 2 Improve premises will be kept for a period of two weeks before being disposed of.

11. Code of Conduct:

The Member shall respect the behavioural and operating principles of Intent 2 Improve, as laid out in our code of conduct (www.intent2improve.com/code).

12. Suspension/Termination of Membership:

If the Member behaves in a way that breaches the code of conduct their membership can be suspended or terminated at management’s sole discretion.

13. Access & Security:

Sessions and Classes are available according to times stated in the Intent 2 Improve booking system. Classes and instructors are subject to change with no prior notice.

14. Payment:

The Member is responsible for the payment of the membership. This is true even if the amount is debited directly by Intent 2 Improve. Agreed price only applies if the Member pays according to the agreed conditions.

The member is responsible for all payments, also in the case of automatic debits by Intent 2 Improve.

If the payment is late the member will receive a reminder email from Intent 2 Improve and access may be suspended.

The membership agreement continues to run even if the access is suspended. If, after 30 days, the amount is still not paid, the Member will be deemed to be in violation of the contract, and the total outstanding amount of the contract will be due. Intent 2 Improve may transfer the case to a debt collector, which will add additional fees.

The first month’s payment or pro rata amount and any sign-up fee are paid at the point of this agreement. The Member has given approval for an automatic debit from his/her/their account or card and the cancellation must be given in writing a minimum of 1 month before the next debit by sending an email to info@intent2improve.com.

15. Satisfaction Guarantee:

During 7 days from the start of the membership, the Member can cancel his/her/their membership free of charge, and will be reimbursed in full of any fees paid thus far.

16. Renewal & Cancellation:

Annual membership (12 months pre-paid): The contract runs for 13 months unless expressly written otherwise, during which time it cannot be cancelled. All sales are final and should the member wish to leave before the end of the 13 month agreement no refund for unused months shall be provided in any circumstance. At the end of the contract period, the membership automatically reverts to monthly rolling unless the Member purchases a new annual agreement. Intent 2 Improve will send a reminder via email one month before the end of the contract period. The member is responsible for his/her/their own cancellation, even if the email reminder was not received.

Monthly membership: If the Member has opted for a direct debit from an account or card, the cancellation must be given in writing at the latest 1 month before the end by sending an email to info@intent2improve.com. The monthly membership will roll indefinitely until the aforementioned is received in writing.

Exceptional cancellation: A cancellation is exceptionally granted if the Member moves more than ten miles away from any Intent 2 Improve facility, on presentation of an official document to prove change of address. It is also possible to cancel the membership due to medical reasons, upon presentation of a medical certificate.

17. Price Changes:

All prices are fixed for the duration of a membership. Any prices changes will be communicated at least one month prior to implementation.

18. Frozen Membership:

It is possible to freeze annual pre-paid membership for a total of up to two months within the 13 month agreement, with the frozen time period added to the end of the membership period.

19. Collection of Media:

From time to time we may want to take photographs and/or video of both clients and trainers during sessions for use in our marketing materials. You will be asked for your express permission before training at any Intent 2 Improve facility. If you do not wish to be included in this, you can request to be excluded in writing at any time to info@intent2improve.com
